Villa Bella, Mar Menor , Murcia
Villa Bella is a modern, attractive, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Villa with a good sized private pool. We can accommodate up to 6 adults as well as a cot( provided) for one infant up to 2 years old.
The Mar Menor, the Mediterraneans largest Salt water lagoon is just a few minutes walk away. We have a fantastic selection of water sports and beaches, literally on our doorstep!
We guarantee you will want to spend most of your stay chilling out in the generously sized south facing garden or why not enjoy a dip in the pool! You can even enjoy a BBQ on our specially commissioned 8 seater outdoor dining table & Gas BBQ. Just arrived – a fabulous outdoor tennis table table !

Our light and airy villa has a large open plan lounge with a six seater dining table.
The modern kitchen includes a brand new washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.
A large master bedroom with en-suite Luxury bathroom is located on the first floor & has a large walk in wardrobe.
The Villa Bella has 2 further double bedrooms both with en-suite modern bathrooms. We provide luxury Egyptians linen, bedding and towels.
Both bedroom 2 & 3 have zip & link beds which can be converted into either twin or king-size double beds, giving you great flexibility . All en-suite bathrooms have showers & their own hairdryers so no need to bring your own! There is an extra guest bathroom on the ground floor.
The spacious lounge/dining area includes 55”Smart TV with an Amazon firestick. Bluetooth speaker is also provided.
Outside is a beautifully landscaped garden with terrace, swimming pool, table tennis table and off road parking. You can also enjoy the use of a gas BBQ, outdoors dining space and 6 sun loungers.
We provide free use of 2 sets of golf clubs, tennis racquets, various board games & books.
We even have an icebox,beach chairs and complimentary use of beach towels to enjoy! There are some amazing beaches surrounding us including the stunning Calblanque National park.
A meet and great service is provided on arrival. Sarah,from La Manga Getaway is on hand during your stay, to answer any of your questions . She will introduce you to the villa and update you on what’s on around the region.
The Area / Location
Mar de Cristal is one of the small villages that have grown up on the southern shores of the Mar Menor. It’s an ideal spot for friends or families wanting to chill out with an abundance of activities close by.
For example,Golf enthusiasts can enjoy some of the best golf courses in the region. Alternatively, Tennis fans can enjoy the local tennis & padl club. In addition, Water-sports enthusiasts have scuba diving, sailing, paddle boarding & kayaking. It is also a cyclists paradise and bikes can be rented locally.
Local amenities include two marinas, beach-side restaurants, bars and local supermarket. The stunning El Secreto Bar & Lounge offers amazing dining – look out for their events programme throughout the year!
The village of Los Belonas is only 4 minute drive away and offers additional all year round amenities. For instance you could try Scarpetti , a superb Italian restaurant or Pablo Guardiola, with their excellent paella.
A hire car is highly recommended,(though not essential )to give you the chance to explore the wonderful coastal villages & historical cities. The fishing village of Cabo de Palos & the stunning coastal national park of Callablanque is less than 15 minutes drive away. The historical Roman city of Cartagena is also worth a visit & can be easily reached by car, bus or even the local train.
Mar de Cristal is also less than a ten minute drive to the well known golf and tennis resort of La Manga club, which offers an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Alternatively the famous La Manga strip with great beaches, watersports and restaurants is within easy reach of us too.

Murcia International (opened January 2019) – approx. 35 minutes from Mar De Cristal. Alicante airport is approx. 70 minute drive from us.

The area
Villa Bella is located within the coastal area of the Mar Menor ,famously known for resorts such as La Manga. The area forms part of the Costa Calida,the 250km stretch of the Mediterranean coastline of the Murcia province.
Mar de Cristal itself is a lovely coastal village within the southern shores of the Mar Menor and enjoys an amazing microclimate with over 325 days of sunshine per year.
Getting around
The Villa is located within walking distance of local amenities including supermarket bars and restaurants.We are just a few minutes walk from the golden sandy beaches and clear waters of the Mar Menor.
Car hire is not essential , though recommended to enable you to explore the many quaint towns villages or to visit one of the numerous sandy beaches. Los Nietos, the fishing village next to Mar de Cristal also offers a regular provincial train service to Cartagena,taking only 30 minutes .
